A few excerpts: (from “Cell your Soul”)… Bringing our soul lessons through takes more than awareness. It is an active process that demands a courageous willingness to live our experiences right through to completion. This means staying with our feelings until they are truly done with us, no matter how uncomfortable they are….The body is far more than just a vessel for the soul. It is the field where the soul's lessons are harvested, the breeding ground for the soul's emergence. In order to grow forward we must bring our suffering through the emotional body until the lesson is birthed. We must cell our soul…Repressed emotions are unactualized spiritual lessons. Once they make it all the way through the conversion tunnel, the lesson will be birthed.

(from 'Root awakening').. Afterwards we lay startled, awestruck. We could only say “perfect” because it truly was. It was wordless but it said everything perfectly. Holding Rachel's hand was like holding God in my hand. It was as close to source as I could ever imagine, an irresistible surrender to the love-struck wellspring that sources the all. Even if we wanted to move, where would we go? We were already everywhere. We were already poetry in motion. It was as true a thing as I could ever imagine.

(from 'only soul knows').. Genuine success is simply the completion of a soul-step, however unsightly it may be. We have finished what we started when the lesson is learned. What a fear-based culture calls a wonderful opportunity may be fruitless and misguided for the soul. Staying in a passionless relationship may satisfy our need for comfort, but it may stifle the soul. Becoming a famous lawyer is only worthwhile if the soul demands it. It is an essential failure if you are called to be a monk this time around. if we need to explore and abandon ten careers in order to stretch our soul toward its innate image, then so be it. Flake it 'til you make it.
